Overview
This module covers all aspects of ethics from a historical perspective through to examples of Codes of Ethics in use in Disability Management and Vocational Rehabilitation today. It addresses professional practice and the role ethics plays in defining a profession and in keeping a professional safe. It also provides the professional with skills in identifying an ethical dilemma and in resolving it in the most effective and appropriate manner possible. It also suggests how the professional can practice in a safe fashion and avoid ethical issues in the first place.
